This authorisation applies when you choose to pay for Yoho VPN by automatic renewal through a payment method you bind to your account (for example a bank card, Alipay or another wallet, via our payment partners). It is in addition to our Terms of Service. If you buy through the App Store or Google Play, that store — not this agreement — governs your renewals.
By confirming the subscription at checkout you authorise YOHO MOBILE PTE. LTD., and the payment institution acting on our instruction, to debit your bound payment method automatically for each renewal period, without a further confirmation step from you each time. The authorisation covers only the Yoho VPN plan you selected.
We send a reminder to your account email at least 7 days before each automatic debit, stating the amount, the date and how to cancel. If a shorter notice is required or permitted by the law that applies to you, that rule governs. If we cannot reach you at the email on your account, the authorisation still stands, but you may cancel at any time as described below.
You can cancel at any time, with no reason and no fee, from your account page on yohovpn.com, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect before the next debit provided it is made at least 24 hours beforehand; your paid period continues to its end and is not shortened. Cancelling the authorisation cancels future debits only — it is not a refund of periods already paid.
Deleting the app does not cancel the authorisation. Deleting your account does.
If a debit is declined (insufficient funds, an expired card, a revoked wallet mandate), we may retry a limited number of times over the following days and will tell you by email. Service continues during that window; if no payment succeeds, the subscription lapses to the free tier at the end of the paid period. We do not accumulate unpaid balances and will not pursue you for a failed renewal — you simply stop being charged.
We may change the price for future periods. If the price for your plan increases, we notify you at least 30 days in advance and you may cancel before it takes effect; where the applicable law or payment scheme requires your fresh consent for the higher amount, we will obtain it rather than debit the new amount under this authorisation.
If you believe a debit was wrong — a duplicate, an amount you did not agree to, or a charge after cancellation — email [email protected] with the date and amount. We aim to reply within 2 business days and, where we find the charge was not authorised or was taken in error, we refund it to the original payment method. This does not affect any right you have to raise the matter with your card issuer, wallet provider or a competent authority.
The authorisation ends when you cancel it, when your account is deleted, when the bound payment method is revoked at its provider, or when we stop offering the plan. We may also end it if we suspend the account under the Terms of Service.
We keep a record of your authorisation (the plan, price, cycle and the time you confirmed) and of every debit made under it, for as long as required for accounting, tax and dispute-resolution purposes.
